How HomeClaimGuide Makes Money – and What That Means for You

This site earns revenue through referral fees and display advertising. Here’s exactly how that works, what it affects, and what it doesn’t.

We earn a referral fee when you connect with a professional through this site

HomeClaimGuide partners with networks that match homeowners with licensed public adjusters and insurance claim attorneys. When a reader clicks one of those referral links and submits a request, we may receive a fee from the network – at no cost to you.

That fee is paid by the professional network, not by you. It does not change what you pay for a public adjuster or attorney, and it does not affect whether you get matched or how quickly.

Referral fees are one of two ways this site is funded. No subscriptions, no sponsored placements.

When you submit a request through a referral link, your information is handled by the partner network – not by HomeClaimGuide. Their privacy policy governs how that data is stored and used. We encourage you to review it before submitting.

This site also displays ads served by Google AdSense. These ads are placed automatically by Google based on page content and your browsing data – HomeClaimGuide does not select individual advertisers or ad content. We earn a fee when ads are displayed or clicked. Ad content is controlled by Google and does not influence any editorial decisions on this site. You can manage Google’s ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.

What the affiliate relationship does – and doesn’t – affect

Does not affect which topics we cover or how we cover them
Does not affect whether we recommend hiring a professional – we flag clearly when it’s not worth it
Does not mean every page pushes you toward a paid referral – most guides on this site have no referral link at all
Does mean that pages about public adjusters and claim attorneys include referral links where relevant
Does mean we have a financial interest in those pages converting – which is why we’re telling you this directly

We only link to referral networks we’d use ourselves

  1. We only link to networks that connect homeowners with licensed, vetted professionals – not lead farms that sell your information to whoever pays most
  2. We tell you when a public adjuster or attorney probably isn’t worth it for your situation, even on pages that have referral links
  3. Referral links are labeled or contextually clear – we don’t disguise them as editorial links
  4. No advertiser or partner has ever reviewed, approved, or influenced the content on any page of this site
  5. If a referral network stops meeting that standard, we remove the link – the fee doesn’t override the recommendation

“The only way an affiliate model works long-term is if the recommendation is actually right for the reader. A referral that sends someone to a professional they didn’t need destroys the trust the whole site is built on.”

That’s the line we don’t cross. When a public adjuster or attorney genuinely isn’t the right call for your claim size or situation, we say so – on the same page that has the referral link.
